Merry Christmas!!

Whether you celebrate Christmas the traditional way or celebrate a different holiday this time of the year it is a time to spend it with family and friends. A time to realize the rich blessings in your life. A time to show generosity to others. Generosity not measured in monetary denominations, but in the genuine sincerity of your giving spirit.

Today we will be volunteering through the Salvation Army to assist with Christmas meal service for those less fortunate. Here in Pittsburgh, PA the Salvation Army serves over 2,000 people through their 400 volunteers. Many local area hotels open their doors to host the much anticipated event held yearly.

Mark, the volunteer coordinator, said it is our task to make the guests as comfortable as possible by serving them, refilling beverages, clearing dishes and making them feel special. It's their day he says...and I believe it is well deserved.
