I recently received an email from one of our advertising contacts about a fundraising effort to help needy families on Hatteras during the holidays. His blog is http://www.blog.openvacationweeks.com/ which offers more details and a link to the site, which is http://www.cheerforhatteras.org/ .

His kids put it together to try to help Hatteras Island families hit hard by Hurricane Irene. I think it's a great cause and a great way to spread cheer to so family downtrodden families this Christmas season.
